Anna is not a terrorist
Government, Congress and sadly a section of media is hell bent on maligning Anna Hazare and discrediting him. The panic in the establishment,abusive language of the Congress spokesman armed with a minority group pf newspapers are going all out to stop Anna from going on the fast. Surprisingly your editorial has no mention of the cheap tactics of the Congress and bringing forward Sawant Committee report only when they are they feel threatened by 73 year old man who only wants to sit on a peaceful protest.
Despite of strong public sentiment in favour of including MPs and the PM in the ambit of Lokpal govt went ahead and introduced the bill based on its own draft. What was the need of a drafting committee then? What will Anna gain by pleading before the numerous committees and letting the Bill a failed venture as we seen before in the case of women reservation bill.
